I can’t stop laughing at this!!
Cambridge - The Portland Arms. Fun show! Very busy which was nice! Met lots of lovely people! Thanks to James for putting the night on!
So much fun… We went on Air, Oblivion (3x), Rita, Thirteen, Sonic Spinball, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Nemesis, Hex, The Swings, Runaway Train and the River Rapids… It was RAD!!!!
Day eight - Leeds, Ward 13 at The George.
Mega tiny show but was a lot of fun! Possibly the oddest support band we’ve ever had… A man playing drums (not very in time) whilst hooked up to a synth and making this noise ‘ahhhhhhh’! Video to come soon.
Day Seven - Nottingham, The Chameleon. Well we arrived and the venue was up two flights of stairs which was a gear loading in FAIL. But we managed to get through it all ok! Soundcheck was great and the sound in there was actually really good. Not much of a turn out but we had a lot of fun especially with the Attention Thieves boys as it was lovely to see them again!
All in all a fun night!
Now on our way to Leeds to rock Ward:13! Alton Towers tomorrow too…. YES!!!!!
Day six - Horsham, Youth Centre.
We had mixed feelings about this show but upon arrival we are very impressed! Great venue and stage. The staff are all lovely and have given us dinner vouchers and water with our individual names on! Going on at 8:55 tonight… Looking forward to it.
Day five - Reading, Face Bar. Forgot to take photos AGAIN. So here is Luke in the Orestebus with his poundshop bb gun!
Gig was great, sadly we had to do half the set instrumental as Nicky’s voice was going. Met some lovely people tonight :) Thanks to all who came down!
Day four - The Croft in Bristol.
Forgot to take photos tonight as we had a lot of issues! Ie. Luke locking the keys inside the van… Oops! All sorted now though. Show was good, we made it through :) Lovely to see Kieron and friends… All in all a good night. Here’s a photo of us with lower gay street… Had to be done.
The show at the Boileroom was amazing last night, we had such a blast! Orestea killed it and Samadus & Ruins of Earth were sweet!
On our way to Exeter now, bring it on!
Thoroughly enjoying doing the vocal warm up CDs in the car on the way to the venue. Big thanks to Sigrid & Luke for those! We got some great looks driving through Brixton yesterday! That’s just how we roll baby.
